In our first year, we started with only 3 pubs involved in our after-party. Now, in our 3rd year, we are up to 9 pubs. The Pace to a Pint 5K is back in 2014 – Plymouth’s St. Patrick’s Day Road Race!
This sought-after course shows runners a beautiful waterfront view in the early spring. Your return trip to the finish line offers the energy of Court Street, as you pass many of the pubs you will soon be occupying.
Once you cross the finish line, you begin your St. Patrick’s Day celebration in booming downtown Plymouth. All 21+ runners will receive one beer ticket good for a Harpoon beer one of the 9 sponsoring bars. This race will end right around lunch time, so bring your friends and family along to celebrate your achievement, and the holiday! There will be something for everyone, whether you’re looking to boogie down, or enjoy a quiet meal with your family, as many of the bars will be offering a wide range of live entertainment and cuisine. From solo acoustic acts to Irish step dancers – this event promises to deliver.

CHARITY: Liam’s Lucky Charm
In the winter of 2008 Liam Kennedy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 33. His family and friends were stunned but determined to do all they could to show their support and encouragement. Liam has dedicated so much of his life to helping others that they knew they had to do something in return to help him and the millions of others suffering from MS. That is when “Liam’s Lucky Charms” was formed.
Parking downtown will be free if you park in a metered spot or designated parking lot. Two-hour spots are still subject to tickets if you exceed the allotted time. Please visit http://www.parkplymouth.com for more information about parking in Plymouth, and be sure to allow extra time for parking.

RUN FOR FREE!
If you have a friend or family member who would be willing to volunteer at the race, you will gain free admission to the race. Volunteers carry out simple tasks, but are necessary to the success of the race. Please contact email@example.com to sign-up. Volunteers must be signed up by March 1, 2014.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the bib pickup and get your race shirt if you signed up before the t-shirt deadline. We appreciate your understanding in this predicament.
Walkers and strollers are welcome!
