The perfect metaphor: Not attending Pace To A Pint this year would be like missing the prom, then learning that due to your absence, your election as prom king/queen was passed off to someone else who ended up hitting it off with your crush as they drank all of your beer at the after-party. (By the way, if this actually happened to somebody, we’d like to hear about it).
The Pace to a Pint 5K is back in 2015 – This year, we are taking things to the next level! Statement game! We told you by 2016, we would take over the entire downtown area. You think we were kidding?
One of the reasons this race is gaining popularity is because of the course; you’ll observe incredible waterfront views for the first half of the course, then find plenty of motivation to keep up the pace as your run past the pubs you’ll soon be occupying in energetic downtown Plymouth. The downhill finish is praised by everyone. Check out our course flyover!
Once you cross the finish line, it’s party time. We’re kicking off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration across 15 bars in booming downtown Plymouth. All 21+ runners receive one beer ticket good for a Harpoon beer one of our sponsoring bars. This race will end right around lunch time, so bring your friends and family! There will be something for everyone, whether you’re looking to boogie down, or enjoy a quiet meal with your family, as many of the bars will be offering a wide range of live entertainment and cuisine. From solo acoustic acts to Irish step dancers – this event promises to deliver.

Race Day Registration: $30
Race includes your first Harpoon beer for 21+ runners to be redeemed at one of our sponsoring pubs. Beer must be redeemed after the race on race day. Runners who register by February 21st will be guaranteed a technical race shirt.
Groups of 4 or more may enter our team competition. Simply create a team name and have all members enter it in the “Team Name” field during registration. The top four times for each team will be added together and the team with the best time wins! Medals awarded to the top team.
Race will start and end at Pilgrim Memorial State Park, located next to Plimoth Rock. The after-party will take place at your choice of several pubs, which will be announced soon.

Parking downtown will be free if you park in a metered spot or designated parking lot. Two-hour spots are still subject to tickets if you exceed the allotted time. Please visit http://www.parkplymouth.com for more information about parking in Plymouth, and be sure to allow extra time for parking.

RUN FOR FREE!
If you have a friend or family member who would be willing to volunteer at the race, you will gain free admission to the race. Volunteers carry out simple tasks, but are necessary to the success of the race. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to sign-up. Volunteers must be signed up by March 1, 2015.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the bib pickup and get your race shirt if you signed up before the t-shirt deadline. We appreciate your understanding in this predicament.
